Comfortable 1BR home w/Maltese Balcony in Valletta VLT012

Positive: Not much Negative: Stairwell. Dingy and dirty. Location far from any cafe

Clean and quiet apartment in a great location. Positive: Excellent location at one end of Republic Street. Easy access. The apartment was clean and quiet – the two things I had as priorities. It was a good size, and the kitchen was well equipped. The wet room was great and the air con was a blessing as the temperature was in the 30s. I would definitely stay here again.

plainte Positive: Le pays est fantastique. Beaucoup d'histoire, belle architecture, les personnes tres amicales. Negative: La communication avec l'etablissment etait presque a 0. Je suis arrivee le 20 mai et j'etait chanceuse de trouver les personnes de menage qui ont me donne le clef. Aucun Internet, aucune television comme il etsit prevu dans le contrat. J'etais obliger d'acheter un SIM carte pour mon telephone pour appeler le telephone indique dans le vontrat. La madame qui a reponue etsit ( desolee) un peut mechante. Elle voule que j'ecrirais sur WhatsApp ( mon angais est presque 0). Je n'ai pas reussi. Le 21 mai dans l'apres midi j'ai appele encore un fois au telephone et je suis tombe a un garson qui a commenc tout m'explique. Il m'a envoye le site d'etablisement ou j'ai apris mon fournisseur d'Interet, le mot de passe, coment fonctionne le tele et ecore beaucoup de choses( jours de poydelle et etc). J'ai recu un message d'etablisement le 20 mai le soir ???? .Ca devrait etre envoye le joyr quand ils ont tire l'argent de ma compte. .

Amazing stay in Valetta Positive: Located in a very quiet area near St Elmo's Fort. Taxi from the airport (€19 set charge - pay at the desk in the airport) but the bus from the airport is €2 to Valetta Bus station - approx 10 minutes walk up Republic St to the apartment. I had to contact 360 Estates the evening before we left to ask for the key box code which should have been emailed earlier in the day. We didn’t need to contact them for anything else during the 9 day stay – everything was fine (the door of the apartment was difficult to open but we were never actually locked out). The apartment was clean & had everything we needed; including microwave oven, kettle and washing machine. We did not cook but most utensils were available. Bedroom had 2 wardrobes, large chest of drawers & sofa. Decent sized bed, with a hard mattress. The bathroom was very large with 2 shower heads, one at each side of the walk in shower area! 2 steps up from wash basin to shower. Towels were provided, including 2 beach towels! The area was quiet at night but quite a steep street up into the city. The electricity is modern British 3 pin sockets, lefthand drive, people speak English, & use Euro (just like Ireland but with sunshine). Some nice tiny bars nearby: Blackfriars Pub and Gugar but with variable opening hours. Very close to the Malta Experience & easy walking distance to everywhere in the city. There are a couple of small shops about a minute walk away either side which sell water (the tap water is desalinated water). the main shop in the centre of the city is Spar on Republic St near St John’s Co-Cathedral. [Skip Cathedral queues by buying your tickets online]. We bought a Tallinja card (€19 for 12 journeys) for the bus & went everywhere by public transport from Valetta bus station: Marsaxlott, Mdina, Mosta, Gozo, Comino, Ghadira Bay, Paola. A local walk: down the side street at Sally Port pizzeria, under the bridge, turn right onto the quay & round the base of St Elmo's Fort. Negative: The mattress was very hard and the steps up to the apartment are steep, narrow and winding- typical of an old renovated building. The TV set is not connected so is only useful to attach to laptop but the WiFi was good. There are no restaurants in the immediate locality but equally there is no late night noise.

Excellent location, lovely apartment, extremely convenient. Positive: Location was perfect. On the main street but at the far end which was quite and offered wonderful views of the three cities. Negative: The weather whilst we were in Malta was much colder than expected and we couldn't get the air con unit to blow out heat so the apartment was a bit cold in the evening/
