Mixed Feelings .....
Positive: The apartment is in a great location and situated on the 6th floor so has fantastic views. Access via a code for the apartment block door and then a code for a key box for the apartment door was fine - actually worked well for when some returned earlier / later than others. The apartment has everything you need and is very spacious. One bedroom at the rear is en-suite whilst the other two share a main bathroom. On exiting the apartment block, there are plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from right on your doorstep. Although the apartment is above these bars / restaurants, we didn't experience any noise disturbance at all. Communication from the hosts is very good for your arrival information.
Negative: A few cosmetic items in the apartment are showing their age but these could be easily replaced and didn't cause an issue. However, there is building work in progress on the apartment block next door. The workers start early and are there till early evening. We were disappointed not to be aware of this but in all honesty, it got us up and out for the day so didn't disturb us at all. What did disturb us which I guess is 'bad luck' was the failure of the air conditioning. We were woken early by a loud clattering at the rear of the apartment which we thought was the builders but as it was Sunday they weren't to blame - the air conditioning unit started making a horrendous noise so we had to switch it off so as not to disturb the neighbors at the rear of the apartment block! We reported this to the host but with it being a Sunday didn't expect a quick fix. We were asked to send a video which we did. We left on the Tuesday morning without any repair or further contact which was disappointing bearing in mind it was very hot over there. Whilst we consider the air con failure unfortunate and maybe out of the hosts direct control, it would have been courteous to have had a reply or maybe some air circulating fans dropped off for our use? On return we received the automated email asking us to contact them before leaving a review of any sort. We did this and didn't receive a reply to that either. Hence, whilst the building work next door is out of the hosts control this could still be a decent place to stay if you are up and out for the day. This actual apartment is not directly on the side of the building works, another apartment is in-between the property being rebuilt and this hosts apartment.

Scöne Gegend, schöne Insel. Leider war der Aufenthalt in dieser Wohnung sehr enttäuschend. Ich kann sie nicht empfehlen.
Positive: Schöne Aussicht vom Balkon, mitten in der Stadt, Viele Bars und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in direkter Nähe. Klimaanlagen in jedem Zimmer.
Negative: BAUSTELLE - Es wird direkt nebenan ein großes Haus gebaut. Dementsprechend ständiger Lärm entlang der Wohnung und in jedem Zimmer hörbar - Montag bis Samstag von 7 bis 19 Uhr ! (angeblich wusste der Vermieter davon gar nichts).
SAUBERKEIT - Die Wohnung und insbesondere die Bäder waren dreckig und staubig, Geschirr und Kühlschrank teilweise schmutzig. Nach einer Beschwerde beim Vermieter, verschaffte sich eine Person ohne unsere Erlaubnis (!) einen Zutritt zur Wohnung und putzte an einigen Stellen.
EINRICHTUNG - Die Einrichtung und Ausstattung ist grundsätzlich OK, ist jedoch abgenutzt. Der heutige Zustand entspricht nicht mehr den Bildern. Ausstattung ist teilweise kaputt oder beschädigt: Barhocker, Kleiderschrank, Badetür, diverse Leuchten.
WEITERGABE DER DATEN AN DRITTE ZU WERBEZWECKEN: Nach unserer Ankunft wurden wir per WhatsApp von einer uns unbekannten Person kontaktiert, die sich als Mitarbeiterin des Vermieters ausgab und uns Rundfahrten anbot. Ihr WhatsApp Profil ist jedoch auf ein anderes Unternehmen registriert.
VERHALTEN DES VERMIETERS:
Auf alle diese Missstände angesprochen, gas es kein Entgegenkommen od. Kulanz seitens des Vermieters, nur übliche Floskeln und Ausreden. Bei dem Preis der Wohnung finde ich das schon sehr dreist..,

Positive: A very large apartment with a wonderful view of Valletta. We spent a very comfortable week there in January. For us, it was the perfect location for sightseeing, walking, and relaxing. Easy check-in.
